Salary: $1,136.55/wk. Min to $1,470.05/wk. Max
Summary Statement of Duties:
Under the direction of the Chief Financial Officer, the incumbent will be responsible for timely management of the contract process, including, but not limited to, understanding staff requirements and expectations, running a Request for Proposal (RFP) process, as required, negotiating with vendors, managing contracts through legal review, and acquiring approval from all parties. Designs, evaluates, negotiates all business terms and ensures that they are addressed and written in a manner that can be precisely interpreted. Administers multi-faceted contracts requiring correlation of factual data, regulations, and contract requirements. Works closely with Senior Staff responsible for contracts, providing support in all areas of contract.
Minimum Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or related field from an accredited college or university.
Experience:
Minimum of (5) five years experience in contract administration or procurement.
Experience with the MMARS system preferred.
Must demonstrate knowledge of all basic functions of contract management and of procurement procedures and regulations.
Physical:
Must be capable of performing the duties as described in this description.
Must be able to demonstrate necessary motor coordination skills to operate a personal computer.
Other:
Must be able to effectively work well with others as well as independently.
Must have excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and oral.
