Motorists destined for I-93 South should follow posted detour signs to the on-ramp at Herald Street.

Two to three lanes of I-93 North through Downtown and Charlestown will be closed Sunday, May 4, 2008 through Friday, May 9, 2008 nights from 11:30 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning.

 Underpass from Storrow Drive Eastbound to I-93 North and Tobin Bridge
Nighttime Ramp Closure

The underpass from Storrow Drive eastbound to I-93 North and Tobin Bridge will be closed nights Monday, May 5, 2008 through Wednesday, May 7, 2008 from 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning.

Drivers traveling on Storrow Drive eastbound will be detoured through Leverett Circle. There they can access the 93 North, Tobin Bridge on ramps.

This closure is to allow for maintenance work.

 I-93 North Exit #26 to Storrow Drive
Nighttime Ramp Closure

I-93 North Exit #26 to Storrow Drive will be closed and detoured at night Monday, May 5, 2008 through Friday, May 9, 2008 from 11:30 PM until 5:00 AM the following morning.

Motorists destined for Storrow Drive will be detoured to Exit 28 (Sullivan Square) and should follow the posted detour via Rutherford Avenue and Gilmore Bridge to Leverett Circle.

This closure is to allow for maintenance work.

 Sumner Tunnel On-Ramp to I-93 North
Nighttime Ramp Closure

The Sumner Tunnel on-ramp to I-93 North will be closed at night Sunday, May 4, 2008 through Thursday, May 8, 2008 from 10:00 PM (11:30 PM on Sunday) to 5:00 AM the following morning.

Drivers destined for I-93 North should follow the posted detour signs via North Washington Street and Rutherford Avenue, or via the Storrow Drive ramp, keep left toward Route 28/ Cambridge, then bear right, and then follow the signs to I-93.

This closure is to allow for utility work.

Nighttime Ramp Closure

The Haymarket on-ramp to I-93 North will be closed at night Sunday, May 4, 2008 through Thursday, May 8, 2008 from 10:00 PM (11:30 PM on Sunday) to 5:00 AM the next morning.

Motorists should follow posted detour signs to I-93 North via North Washington Street and Rutherford Avenue.

This closure is to allow for utility work.

 Essex Street On-Ramp to I-93 North
Nighttime Ramp Closure

The Essex Street on-ramp to I-93 North will be closed at night Sunday, May 4, 2008 from 11:30 PM to 5:00 AM and Tuesday, May 6, 2008 from 10 PM to 5:00 AM the next morning.

Motorists should follow I-93 North signs via Essex Street and Atlantic Avenue to the on-ramp at Cross Street.

This closure is to allow for utility work.

 I-90 (MassPike) East HOV Tunnel to Logan Airport
Off Peak Daytime Closure

The I-90 East high occupancy vehicle (HOV) tunnel to Logan Airport will be closed off-peak during the day Monday, May 5, 2008 through Wednesday, May 7, 2008 from 10 AM to 2 PM.

HOVs traveling on I-93 North should take Exit 20 to I-90 East/Logan Airport. HOVs destined for I-90 East from Downtown Boston or I-93 South should follow the signage to I-90 East from Albany.

HOV access from I-93 North to the South Station Transportation Center and Kneeland Street remains open.

This closure allows for inspection work.

 I-90 (Masspike) East Exit #24 B and C to I-93 North and South
Nighttime Ramp Closure

The ramp at I-90 East Exit #24 B and C to I-93 North and South will be closed at night Sunday, May 4, 2008; Tuesday, May 6, 2008 and Wednesday, May 7, 2008 from 11:30 PM until 5:00 AM the next morning. Access to Kneeland Street/ South Station will remain open.

Drivers destined for I-93 North and South should use Exit #24A to South Station. Those headed for I- 93 North should stay straight on Atlantic Ave to the I-93 North on-ramp at the Seaport Boulevard intersection. Drivers destined for I-93 South should turn left onto Kneeland Street towards Chinatown to access the I-93 South on-ramp at Albany Street.

This closure is to allow for utility work.

Nighttime Lane Closure

Lanes will be closed on I-90 (MassPike) East near the Prudential Tunnel and Exit 22 at night Thursday, May 8, 2008 from 9 PM to 5 AM the following morning.

 Congress Street (So. Boston) to I-93 and I-90 West Exit #24 to I-93
Nighttime Ramp Closure

The on-ramp from Congress Street to I-93 in South Boston and the I-90 West Exit 24 to I-93 will be closed to traffic at night Sunday, May 4, 2008; Tuesday, May 6, 2008 and Wednesday, May 7, 2008 from 11:30 PM to 5:00 AM the next morning.

Motorists traveling from Congress Street and I-90 West to I-93 North will be detoured via B Street and Seaport Boulevard to the I-93 North on-ramp. Those traveling to I-93 South will be detoured via D Street to Summer Street and Surface Road to the I-93 South on-ramp at Herald Street.

This closure will allow for utility work.

 I-90 (MassPike) West at Exit 25 in South Boston
Nighttime Highway Closure

A section of I-90 West at Exit 25 in South Boston will be closed and detoured at night Monday, May 5, 2008 from 11:30 PM to 5 AM the following morning.

Drivers will be detoured at Exit 25 and should follow the posted detour via the South Boston Bypass Road to Frontage Road northbound to the I-90 West on-ramp at Broadway.

Exit 24 to I-93 North and South will remain open.

This closure is to allow for electrical work.

 D Street On-Ramp to I-90 West
Nighttime Ramp Closure

The D Street on-ramp to I-90 West (Masspike) will be closed at night Monday, May 5, 2008 from 11:30 PM to 5 AM the next morning.

Motorists should follow posted detour signs for I-90 West to the South Boston Bypass Road and take Frontage Road northbound and to the I-90 West on-ramp at Broadway.

This closure is to allow for electrical work.

 Harborside Drive to I-90 West/Ted Williams Tunnel
Nighttime Ramp Closure

The ramp from Harborside Drive to I-90 West/Ted Williams Tunnel will be closed at night Wednesday, May 7, 2007 from 11:30 PM to 5 AM the following morning.

Motorists should follow signs towards the airport exit and then follow signs for I-90 West/ Ted Williams Tunnel

This closure is to allow for maintenance.

 Hopkinton and Westborough between Exits 11 and 12
Pavement Resurfacing - Lane Closures

A pavement resurfacing project is under construction between Exits 11 and 12, from Mile 104.9 to 107.2 in Hopkinton and Westborough on the eastbound and westbound sides of the MassPike (I-90). Single lane closures
will be required westbound Monday through Friday between 6:00am and 3:00pm and multi-lane closures between 8:00pm and 5:00am. Single lane closures will also be required eastbound Monday through Thursday between 9:00am and 5:00pm.

 I-90 (MassPike) East and West Maintenance
Lane Closures

For the next several months maintenance crews will be doing repair work on sections of I-90 (MassPike) East and West from the I-90/I-93 Interchange in Boston to the New York State line during the day from 7 AM/ 9 AM (depending on location) to 3 PM weekdays.

Construction work zones will require lane closures to do the highway repair work. Much of the work needs to be completed in dry weather.

 Harrison Avenue and Washington Street Bridges
Lane Closures and Changes

The four lanes on Washington Street and Harrison Avenue are reduced to two lanes traveling on the newly constructed bridge deck. The Harrison Avenue Bridge has been reconfigured to allow two-way traffic.

These lane closures and changes are to allow for bridge deck demolition as part of the Harrison Avenue and Washington Street bridge deck replacement work through mid-2008.

Nighttime Ramp Closure

The Congress Street on-ramp to I-93 South and I-90 West will be closed at night Sunday, May 4, 2008 through Thursday, May 8, 2008 from 11:30 AM to 5 AM the following morning.

Motorists destined for I-90 West should follow detour signs along Surface Road to the on-ramp at Albany Street. To access I-93 South, motorists use the on-ramp at Essex Street.

This closure is to allow for utility work.

 Sumner Tunnel On-Ramp to Storrow Drive
Nighttime Ramp Closure

The Sumner Tunnel on-ramp to Storrow Drive will be closed and detoured at night Monday, May 5, 2008 through Friday, May 9, 2008 from 11:30 PM to 5:00 AM the next morning. Sumner Tunnel access to Haymarket will remain open.

Sumner Tunnel drivers headed to Storrow Drive should follow posted detour signs via New Chardon, Merrimac and Nashua Streets.

This closure is for maintenance.
